I'm a writer. I have a voice. Most of my books have a common thread--putting America first. I make no apologies for that. Some may disagree. They probably aren't my audience anyway. They haven't changed my mind about putting America first. Even with all of the political infighting. Even as we watch our elected officials seek to further their own interests rather than those of us who elected them. More than one reader has commented on the pro-American slant of my books. They asked me to leave it out next time. The best authors admit they're human. We use that wonderful bit of humanity to bring our characters to life. Sometimes that weaves thru the book a larger thread of ourselves than was intended. Just so it doesn't distract from the story. I'm the wordsmith, nothing more.
